Tappan Chairs have been produced in Sandwich, NH since 1819, by skilled local craftsman using vintage equipment from it's earliest days.  The business has been passed down from one maker to the next over generations, both in and now beyond, the original family. Our family's history started in Sandwich in early 1930s, and five generations later we still call this beautiful place home.

We are proud to be the new stewards of this historic company and hope you follow along as we bring the Original Tappan Chairs and other traditionally made Shaker pieces to our customers.
